1. About us

These terms govern your use of the KleanKitchen service ("Service"), operated by KleanKitchen ("KleanKitchen", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you are entering into an agreement with KleanKitchen.

2. Acceptance

By accessing or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. If you are using the Service as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.

3. The Service

KleanKitchen helps people discover, save, plan, and share allergy-friendly recipes, including AI-assisted features. Allergen, dietary, and nutrition information is provided for general guidance only and is not a substitute for medical advice or your own verification. Always read labels and verify ingredients before cooking for anyone with allergies.

4. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity under your account.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you agree not to:

  • use the Service unlawfully or in violation of any third party's rights;
  • upload spam, fraudulent, harmful, deceptive, or infringing content;
  • upload content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • interfere with the security or integrity of the Service (including malware, probing, or scraping);
  • reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service or circumvent technical limits.

6. User content

You retain ownership of recipes, photos, comments, and other content you submit ("User Content"). You grant KleanKitchen a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting), and display your User Content as needed to operate and provide the Service. You are responsible for your User Content and confirm you have the rights to share it.

7. Intellectual property

KleanKitchen and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including the software, branding, and documentation. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service.

8. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in your account or via paddle.net; access continues until the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy.

9. AI features

Some features use AI to suggest recipes, analyse allergens or diets, and generate images. AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and should not be relied on as medical, nutritional, or professional advice. You are responsible for your prompts, for verifying outputs, and for ensuring you have rights to any content you submit. You must not use the Service to generate illegal content, hateful content, malware, or to attempt to jailbreak the underlying models. We may remove or restrict content and refuse or filter outputs at our discretion.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from inaccuracies.

12. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, where such limitation is not permitted by law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify KleanKitchen against claims arising from your User Content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.

14. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which KleanKitchen is established, and disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its competent courts, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
